AlHokair Team hosted by the Disabled Children's Association

A team of AlHokair’s hotels’ general managers along with the director of the Stay & Care program visited the headquarters of the Disabled Children's Association in Riyadh as part of reactivating the program and bringing more awareness to the association along with the services they provide and they role they play in the disabled children’s life and their rehabilitation.  The team was welcomed by the secretary-general of the association and a number of its officials.

The two sides held a panel discussion focused on how can AlHokair Group for Tourism and Development support the association and their social and entertaining activities.

The meeting resulted in several proposals including: placing a wheelchair in the "reception" of each hotel along with some media publications, as well as printed advertising materials, which will be handled by the association. They will also organize visits for members of the association to AlHokair hotels so they can introduce the reception staff  to the association’s goals and the Stay and Care program. Also, they will send messages to the hotel’s guests about the about the association’s Stay and Care program. They will also place a welcoming message to introduce the guests to the general idea of the program. All of these proposals will be activated in all of AlHokais’s hotels and other hotels after it is agreed upon by the board of directors.

The Care and Stay program is a collaboration between the Disabled Children's Association and AlHokair Group for Tourism and Development, where hotel guests’ were asked to pay 5 riyals. All the  proceeds go to finance the medical fees and rehabilitation of the association’s centers all across the Kingdom.

The group is an important partner of the Association; they believe in their social and charitable role they play in the community. This of course is no surprise to AlHokair Group since they have been pioneers in the field of social responsibility for years.
